Explain the difference between full conversion and partial conversion by taking ‘"valuables” and "the young” as examples.
1)Full conversion. A noun fully converted from an adjective has all the characteristics of nouns. It can take an indefinite article or -es to indicate singular or plural number, such as “valuables”.2) Partial conversion. Nouns partially converted from adjectives do not possess all the qualities a noun does. They must be used together with definite articles. What’s more, they retain some of the adjective features, for example, “the young”.
