（3）FREE MORPHEMES HAVE COMPLETE MEANINGS IN THEMSELVES AND CAN BE USED AS FREE GRAMMATICAL UNITS IN SENTENCES. BOUND MORPHEMES MUST BE BOUND TO OTHER MORPHEMES TO FORM WORDS.
